The most usual and the easiest way to visit Dubrovnik is by plane.
Throughout the year Dubrovnik has very good connections (every day, two to three times a week) with Vienna, Zagreb, Munich, Frankfurt, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Bruxelles, Zurich, Rome etc.
If not direct, excellent connections are available via Zagreb so that you can fly to other cities every day.
During the summer season (cca from April till November) there are flights to and from: Oslo, Manchester, Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Berlin, Athens, Dublin, Lisbon, Belgrade, Barcelona, Madrid, Moscow, Stockholm etc.
Some of the airline companies flying from / to Dubrovnik are: Croatia Airlines, Austrian, British, Monarch, Germanwings, Lufthansa, Easyjet, Norwegian, Vueling, Jet2, Air Mediterranne, Aer lingus etc.
Airport is cca 25 km from the City centre and has very good connections to the city via taxi or regular bus transfer.
Taxi transfer from airport to Dubrovnik : cca 30 to 35 EUR (200 to 250 HRK)
Regular bus transport from airport to City center or main bus station: cca 6 EUR (35 to 40 HRK)
Highway from Rijeka and Zagreb to Dubrovnik has reached the town of Ploče that is located cca 1.5h drive from Dubrovnik.
Highway price from Zagreb to Ploče : cca 35 EUR (220 HRK)
Participants travelling by train can arrive to Split, or from Sarajevo they can arrive to Ploče.
From there, travellers usually take regular bus transfer to Dubrovnik.
During the whole summer, Dubrovnik has very good connections by ferry on between
*Rijeka – Dubrovnik
*Bari (Italy) – Dubrovnik
There is also possibility of taking a ferry from Ancona (Italy) to Split and after that driving to Dubrovnik – cca 3h.
Dubrovnik is a small city but has a very good public bus transport. More precisely, local bus no. 6 can take you directly from the conference center (hotel) to city center in cca 10-15 minutes. They just board near the hotel and exit at the last stop near the City.
Transfer by taxi is also on disposal 24/7.
